450 People showed up for 220 tickets. No enthusiasm? Hah
Georgia Dems are enthusiastic, but it the Volunteers that are the key to winning elections
OMG the level of enthusiasm among Democrats in Georgia is sky high right. DPG announced the e giving away 100 tickets at Manual's Tavern Yesterday afternoon. 450 people showed up. People lined up around the block. Parking three blocks away, Don't tell me this state isn't fired up. Don't tell me we can't turn this state Blue in 2012!
My view has always been that its not so much an issue of enthusiiams as it is volunteereism. We know Republican vote and we know what drives that vote. They have the the dulcet tones of RW Media every single day screaming in their ear. Its eeffective even its largely bananal and base.. Democrats for good and bad have relied on a "boots" on the ground strategy The more people we connect with the greater the entusiasm. If we had 10,000 volnteer to knock on doors and phone bank the Dmocratic Party would win,
