Steve Perkins is a 1980 Graduate of Decatur High School.  He returned to the Decatur area in 2010.

He is a strong Democratic Party activist.  He serves as   Communcation Chair  of the  DeKalb Democratic Party as well as on The Executive Committee of the State Party.   He was recently elected  by   the State Party to serve as Delegate to the Convention in Charlotte.
