In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and former chef Charlotte Nelson, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q in Candler Park and Big Tex Decatur have been donating $1 from every ‘American Woman’ cocktail sold, exclusively in both restaurants, throughout the month.
The American Woman cocktail is being sold for $6.50 and features American Spirit Whiskey, Peach Schnapps, fresh squeezed lime and lemon juice, grenadine and a splash of soda. American Spirit Whiskey is a distinctive and mixable white whiskey, home-grown in Atlanta.

Chef Charlotte Nelson was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in November of 2012 and passed away from complications last January. She worked with many of Atlanta’s great chefs and top restaurants including Atmosphere, Taurus, Canoe, and the Georgian Terrace Hotel’s Livingston Restaurant + Bar. Charlotte joined the team at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q in 2009, and became head chef in late 2011.

American Woman Cocktail
1 ounce American Spirit Whiskey
1/2 oz peach schnapps
1 oz Lime juice
3 oz Lemonade
Splash grenadine
Shake ingredients then add:
Splash sprite/lime soda
Served in a pint glass, fill glass with ice. Garnish with cherries and a lime wedge.
