Terry Michel, Neighbor

A resident of the City of Decatur for almost eight years, I'm proud to call the Oakhurst neighborhood home.   I live in a 100 year old farm house with my wildly unpredictable (but ultimately, very loving) dog, Sweet Georgia Brown. 

My professional background is in technical project management, and I have held a  variety of senior project management roles at companies ranging from MCI Telecommunications to Weather.com to Vail Resorts to EarthLink.

I knew there was a better way to practice real estate, and in 2006 - just when the national 'housing market bubble' was bursting - I quit my full-time corporate job to become a full-time real estate consultant.  I've never looked back, and have successfully grown my business each year.

In 2010 I was the #1 Individual Agent in the #1 real estate office in DeKalb County and the City of Decatur (Keller Williams Metro Atlanta), having sold over $9,500,000 in residential property in 2010 alone.
