By day, I'm a project assistant at G. Ben Turnipseed Engineers and in my spare time, I write about restaurants, retailers and Agnes Scott College -- my alma mater -- for Patch. I volunteer at the High Museum of Art and I'm also a contributor to Inside Gwinnett magazine. I majored in English literature and minored in French at Agnes Scott College. While there, I was managing editor for the student newspaper, The Profile. I also covered sports and features. I was a dancer since the age of three and taught ballet at Greater Atlanta Christian School. I also interned at the Decatur Arts Alliance, where I helped to plan and coordinate events like the annual Decatur Arts Festival. After graduation I attended the Columbia Publishing Course in New York City.
