Lenox Place Carolers to Revel in Song Tuesday Night

For the fourth straight year, residents will bundle up and serenade their neighbors with seasonal songs.

Figgy pudding may be obsolete, but for one area neighborhood, caroling hasn't gone out of style. For the fourth year, residents in the west Decatur neighborhood of Lenox Place will bundle up and roam the streets to serenade their neighbors with seasonal holiday tunes.  On Dec. 21, at 6 p.m., neighborhood residents will gather at the kiosk they installed near the intersection of Hibernia and Adair Street, pass out songbooks and head out.  For about an hour, they plan to knock on doors and sing to those who open their doors. The annual caroling gathering started in 2007 when the nascent neighborhood association was brainstorming activities to get residents interested in the group.
