Decatur Diner: Mystery Revealed?

Decatur Diner has yet to open and already the buzz has reached a fever pitch. People are talking about it regularly, including on Twitter and the Decatur Metro blog, among the sites. There are even jokes about how the Decatur Diner mystery is taking on a kind of "I saw Big Foot" aura, said one Tweet. Another said that ghosts from the historic courthouse were awaiting service there. Construction has taken the greater part of a year and the interior has looked finished since the summer with tables looking ready for customers. Even the brightly lit, neon signs outside the Decatur Diner give the appearance that it's open for business. Then, there's the steady stream of people going in and out. Interesting marketing ploy or disorganized restaurant owners? who knows. Either way, I'm sure the Grand Opening will be jam packed when it actually opens 'soon' ... in 2015. more ›
