Part of Katie Kerr Drive Closed
The road will be closed Monday-Friday from East College Avenue to South Columbia Drive for installation of a gas main.
Some motorists in the Decatur area may need to change routes this week. The city says Katie Kerr Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, to 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, between East College Avenue and South Columbia Drive so work crews can install a gas main. We would appreciate it if people would drive more slowly on Derrydown Way. A lot of people live here and have small children and animals, and people are using this street as a detour and going way too fast. I saw someone's cat laying dead in the middle of the street today. Our street is not built to accommodate so much traffic. This has been going on four two weeks. Something needs to be done … more ›
