Norton Juster, author of "The Phantom Tollbooth," spoke Friday night at Presser Hall at Agnes Scott as part of the citywide reading project, On The Same Page. Juster has been getting a lot of attention lately. This is the 50th anniversary of the publication of his book, considered a children's classic. The Little Shop of Stories organized the events in the reading project with support from the Decatur Education Foundation and the Decatur Rotary Club. If you don’t have a ticket to the Friday night appearance by Norton Juster, author of "The Phantom Tollbooth," don’t give up. You still have a chance of finding a seat in Presser Hall at Agnes Scott College. According to the Little Shop of Stories blog, all tickets have been distributed but there’s “a considerable likelihood that some people with tickets will not be able to come to the event.” The event starts at 7 p.m., and at 6:50 p.m. empty seats will be given to people without tickets. Juster’s appearance caps the official events in the citywide reading program, On The Same Page.
