Meehan's Public House Going Into Old Maddy's BBQ
This would be the fifth Meehan's Public House in the Atlanta area.
A restaurant with something of an Irish atmosphere is coming to Decatur. 101 Concepts will open a Meehan's Public House in the old Maddy's Barbecue space at 1479 Scott Blvd., reports Tomorrow's News Today. The website says, Currently there are Meehan's restaurants in Vinings and Sandy Springs, along with more recent openings downtown and in Atlantic Station. The new location will be Meehan's only freestanding restaurant. Other current 101 Concepts include Food 101 and Cibo E Beve, both on Roswell Road across from Fountain Oaks Shopping Center. Fox Bros. BBQ earlier planned to open a "rib joint" in the empty Maddy's space but then changed their minds.
