Volunteers To Work At The International Community School on MLK Day
It's part of Hands On Atlanta's 17th annual Day of Service.
Plenty of people will be volunteering in Avondale Estates and Decatur during the long weekend built around Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In Avondale Estates, volunteers from Hands On Atlanta will build container gardens, landscape an outdoor classroom and build butterfly and peace gardens Monday at the International Community School. Hands On Atlanta says its goal is to mobilize 3,000 volunteers in more than 50 projects in metro Atlanta, yielding more than 10,000 hours of service to Atlanta’s communities in one day of service.
