The DeKalb History Center will honor outstanding African-Americans who made contributions to the arts on Thursday for Black History Month.
The Dekalb History Center will honor outstanding African-Americans who made contributions to the arts during its sixth annual Black History Month celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse located at 101 E. Court Square in Decatur. The event includes: This year's living legend honorees are: Tickets can be purchased for $30 each if you are a member of the DeKalb History Center or $35 if you are not. You can purchase tickets by going to their membership page and scrolling down to the "Donate" button.
