Cleveland Browns Honor Clarence Scott

Clarence Scott, who played football at pre-integration Trinity High in Decatur in the 1960s, has been inducted into the Browns Legends, an honorary group of prominent Cleveland Browns football players. Scott, who now lives in the Stone Mountain, and running back Ernie Green formally entered the Browns Legends Sept. 23 before the Browns-Bills game in Cleveland. Scott said to the Morning Journal website in Northern Ohio, “It (the Legends induction) is a tremendous honor for me. I’ve been a Cleveland Browns fan since sixth grade. Jim Brown was my favorite player. We got a lot of East Coast games — Browns Redskins, Giants — and Cleveland was my favorite team."
