First Christian Church, Winnona Park Elementary and Boy Scout Troop 107 are selling Christmas trees this season.
Many people like to buy their Christmas trees shortly after Thanksgiving. Here are some local places to buy trees. First Christian Church of Decatur. Sales begin on the church lawn at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, after the truck is unloaded. Sale hours at the church at 601 W. Ponce de Leon Ave. will be 3-8:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Saturdays and 1-8:30 p.m. Sundays. Prices: $46.75 to $106.25. You can save 15 percent by ordering before Nov. 24. The church will deliver to your home for free within a five-mile radius of the church. Boy Scout Troop 107. The troop sells Christmas trees and holiday greenery through Dec. 16 on the weekends at Oakhurst Presbyterian Church at 118 Second Ave., Decatur. The hours are 6-9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m…

First Christian Church of Decatur, Winnona Park Elementary and the Boy Scouts are selling trees.
Members of the First Christian Church of Decatur put on T-shirts and jeans Sunday after church and went to work. The men, women and children unloaded a truck full of Christmas trees and wreaths and carried the trees to a fenced-off spot in front of the church. The church will sell trees and wreaths for a fourth straight year, said the Rev. James L. Brewer-Calvert. Proceeds will benefit the church park as well as church and community ministries in Decatur, he said. Sales start Monday, Nov. 28, and will go on until the last tree is sold. The church is at 601 W.
