Renfroe Middle School To Hold Bullying Workshop Wednesday

Parents are invited to this event, which starts at 6:30 p.m.

The City Schools of Decatur has put a lot of emphasis on stopping bullying. Since 2003, Georgia State University has examined the school system as part of its Bullying Intervention Project. (Click on item IV.) On Wednesday, March 7, Renfroe Middle School will conduct a program for students and parents on bullying. Renfroe Middle To Hold Discussions on Bullying, Obeying The Law

Former DA J. Tom Morgan will talk about his book, "Ignorance Is No Defense."

Parents are invited to two programs this week at Renfroe Middle School in Decatur. The first event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, in the school media center. J. Tom Morgan, the former Dekalb County District Attorney, will talk about Ignorance is no Defense: A Teenager's Guide to Georgia Law. A parent workshop will follow.  At 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, a principal's coffee chat will be held in the school media center.
