Red Cross Will Hold Blood Drive Wednesday at Agnes Scott
Donations are down 11 percent compared to the average January.
The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Lower Evans at Agnes Scott College. The Red Cross says it's short on blood now because of a decrease in donations this winter, with January donations in the Southeast 11 percent lower than the average January. There is a special need for type O and type B blood donors. If you want to donate, make an appointment by going to the Red Cross website.
