Wilson's Garage
4451 Glenwood Rd, Decatur, GA 30032
You would be forgiven if you thought this auto repair shop was strategically placed so as to avoid as much business asMore possible. Entry is gained first through the gates of an apartment complex noticeable only for the fluttering yellow flags advertising leasing specials. From there, head straight forward and take a left at the corner of Highcourt Place. Here, between a small abandoned house and a trailer office and flanked by a dozen or so cars in various stages of repair and disrepair, a handful of mechanics are hard at work. Tune ups and oil changes seem to be the mainstay of this business. Wilson's is owned by a grandmotherly woman, simultaneously stern and friendly and quite the stray cat collector.
