@concernedparent. I never wrote that kids need to rely on electronics for social interaction. IRead More don't know whgere you got that from. We are saying the same thing in our posts. But kids will need to know how to construct a clear and concise e-mail, know how to send an effective text and keep an online connection with important clients and customers....that's how businesses are now. They also need to know how to properly entertain them, engage them and wine and dine them in person as well. AI said before...you need to balance it all and know how to control electronics and make them work for you and not the other way around.

Stoddard alleged that Leanna Harris made an odd remark to her husband while the two were in anRead More interview room after Ross Harris' arrest. Ross told Leanna that Cooper looked peaceful and said, "I dreaded how he would look," Stoddard said. At another point, Stoddard said, Leanna Harris asked her husband what he had said to police. "She asked him -- she had him sit down, and he starts going through this. And she looks at him, and she's like, 'Well, did you say too much?' " the detective testified.

After another baby dies after being left in a hot car, a mother recounts a mistake that might have cost her daughter's life.
susan July 11, 2014 at 02:53 pm
Well, then you would have to weigh the risk of being killed in a car accident against being left inRead More a hot car. Since automobile accidents are the number one cause of death for children, I don't think this would be wise. There are very simple devices that activate when the weight of a child enters the car seat. If the key fob then goes away from the car without the child being removed it sounds an alarm. Do you know why this item almost passed for marketing but not quite? Because too many people think that they would never forget their child in a car and so don't think it's cost efficient. I would think that saving the life of one precious child would justify the cost, but what do I know? Clearly most people here would rather point the finger of shame then save a babies life.

Do you NOT understand that there will always be a select group of people that will use every tragicRead More event and twist and bend it for their own evil purposes. Tragic as it is...people forget their children in a hot car. And some CHOOSE to leave their child in a hot car. Each circumstance must be investigated individually.

These people are a joke.... they approve aspartame (a real poison) and now are concerned aboutRead More sugar intake...... Seriously is a demented and twisted world we live in.
Shelli B July 11, 2014 at 01:49 pm
People don't realize how dangerous sugar really is. We all know it's important to brush our teethRead More after eating sweets but we don't make the connection that that same corrosiveness effects ALL of our tissues. Imagine tooth decay in our arteries, or attacking the cartilage that protects the ends of our bones, our joints. These images and other examples of sugar in our bodies in action are never shown because there is a HUGE, Billion dollar industry that doesn't want us to realize how bad, bad, bad sugar is. Add to that the fact that sugar is an addictive substance. These facts have been known for many years but the sugar lobby is just as powerful and destructive as the substance they push.

Hey BGC, being 1/3 American Indian myself I can tell you have never been to a Powwow! If you had youRead More would see we actually LOVE & RESPECT America & start each one with a special ceremony with the AMERICAN FLAG! Unlike the illegals now, who REFUSE to assimilate, demand to speak their own language, & constantly fly flags from other countries while disrespecting the country they now demand to illegally be in & be taken care of by! Get your facts straight:)

Kind of makes you wonder how many wayward, "decades old" vials of the most virulentRead More disease known to mankind there are laying about in the nooks and crannies of the USA and Russia. It also makes me wonder what the anti-vaxxers would do in the face of such a resurrected plague.
