Our daughter is currently enrolled in the pre-k program. We are very impressed with the academics and what she has learned in the past year. We are even more impressed with the social and emotional maturity she has gained this year. Her teachers spend a lot of time working with the kids to resolve their conflicts contructively. Not only are they teaching her to read and write, they are helping her to become an independent, kind and empathetic person.

My son graduated from FSA in 2012. He loved his middle school experience there. It was an academically rigorous, caring, and friendly (no pun intended) environment. The Quaker values are ones that we all aspire to: Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equity, and Stewardship. My oldest continues to embrace these ideals in ways that are inspiring and heartwarming. I am ready for my second son to attend next year and am thankful to be able to provide such an important lifetime experience for him while he is still growing up.
My son graduated from Friends School of Atlanta in 2004 and went on to Paideia and NYU. He's a pretty decent human being, and for that I thank the teachers and staff at FSA for their commitment to providing top notch education in an atmosphere of diversity, fairness, and respect. I have been pleased to serve on the Board of Trustees since 2006 and in that time I have watched the school expand into its great facility on Columbia Drive while also expanding its mission and its community outreach. If you are looking for an independent school where your child will be honored as a member of a beloved community, look no further than Friends School of Atlanta.

When our family moved to Atlanta from the Northeast we were pleased to find The Friends School of Atlanta- the only Quaker School in the south east. Our child is a student at FSA and he has flourished academically but also has learned important lessons about community. The school provides a wonderful environment that promotes individual excellence, student growth, and diversity.
