Glennwood Academy is an International Baccalaureate school serving 4th and 5th grades. However, Glennwood will revert back to an elementary for the 2011-2012 academic year to accommodate the growing population of young school-aged children. The 4th and 5th grade students will move into the new Fifth Avenue Academy in August, 2011.
Glennwood is the oldest in the City Schools of Decatur. Gloria Lee is school principal.
