A truly French cafe is hard to come by in these parts of the South, but it's not a surprise that the eclectic city of Decatur has played host to one since 1997. Cafe Alsace is a charming French gem for those who seek a quaint, intimate dining experience. Walking out, you'll be surprised not to see the Arc de Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower, but your belly will nonetheless be full of escargot, creme brulee and imported wines, or whichever French dish tickles your fancy. And yes, French is spoken.
