• Furkids Black Fur-Day!: Join us on Nov. 29th for Black Fur-Day!  Save some green and apply to adopt a black cat or dog between 12:01 AM and 11:59 PM on Nov. 29th and receive 50% off your adoption fee! Go to http://www.furkids.org/ to apply!!
• Kids Eat Dinner for Free on Fridays at D.B.A Barbecue!: (OK, so this is technically in Virginia-Highland Patch, but who doesn't like a free meal?) D.B.A Barbecue is now offering a convenient way for families to save. Every Friday, kids 12 & younger are invited to enjoy a free dinner at Virginia-Highland’s favorite barbecue spot from 5 to 7 p.m.

• Make your Own Blown Glass Holiday Ornament: Join Glass artist Nate Nardi, of natenardi.com, inside his awesome studio and learn how to create your own hand blown glass art. Participants will get an inside look at a professional glass studio located just 2 miles from the Oakhurst Garden. In the class you will learn about the tools, the safety procedures and how to create a holiday ornament with colors you choose.
• Annual Holiday Sale featuring local and regional pottery!: This year's show features work by over 50 local and regional artists - gifts range from ornaments to holiday serving pieces with teapots and mugs galore. New this year: To show our appreciation for supporting local artists -  Take 10% off of your gallery purchase for Small Business Saturday on November 30th.

• Pet photos with Santa Paws! Fundraiser for Furkids!: Bring your pets for professional photos with a real Santa Paws at Dog City Bakery in Sandy Springs.  A $10 sitting fee will be donated to Furkids and images will be available for purchase in different sizes and packages.
