Thursday, January 30, 2014:
Sherwood Chiropractic Center Workshops: Join us every other Thursday at 12:45 pm or 6:30 pm for a free 50 minute workshop that is jam-packed with information to teach you how your body works!

Overview event for Lindamood-Bell center opening in Decatur: We work with kids and adults and have programs for reading, reading comprehension, writing, and math.

Author talk and book signing with Pellom McDaniels: Pellom McDaniels III, Emory professor of African American Studies, will discuss his new biography, “The Prince of Jockeys: The Life of Isaac Burns Murphy.” Murphy (1861-1896), a son of slaves, became the first jockey to win the Kentucky Derby three times (1884, 1890 and 1891).
