West African Drum Class: Even if you’ve never touched an instrument before…even if you think you’ve got no rhythm, YOU CAN learn to drum.

Wednesday, November 13, 2013:
Confused about the Affordable Health Care Act?: The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service will present a program on navigating the complexities of the new Health Care Act on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in our sanctuary.

Thursday, November 14, 2013:
Family Fun! Kids in the Coop: Join the Oakhurst Garden manager JC Hines for a fun family introduction to the basics of chicken care. Learn how to pick up, feed, and be a keeper of chickens. You and your child will have the opportunity to ask questions, interact with a chicken and learn where eggs come from.

Decatur Unified Development Ordinance Meeting: The campaign kick-off to craft an all new Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), which consolidates Decatur’s many existing ordinances into one-easy-to use, easy-to-administer document is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m.

Saturday, November 16, 2013:
HOLIDAY GIFT SHOW: Holiday Gift Show benefiting Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministries (DEAM).  Kids have breakfast with Santa and get your picture taken.
