Lil Jon Wins $40,000 on "Celebrity Apprentice" for Decatur Charity

United Methodist Children's Home benefits as Lil Jon leads the team to a win

Atlanta music producer, rapper and entrepreneur led his "Celebrity Apprentice" team on Sunday night to a win, sending $40,000 to in Decatur as a result.

According to CBSnews.com, it was a square off between NeNe Leakes of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta," and Lil Jon's team. As team leaders, they had to produce 30-second commercials showcasing ACN, a telecommunications company, and their new video phone.

For Lil Jon's team, "Celebrity Apprentice" participant Gary Busey was cast as an eccentric robe-wearing grandfather with Jose Canseco, a former major league baseball player, as his grandson's gay Argentine fiance.

Meanwhile, Leakes' team of ladies failed to connect. Dionne Warwick and LaToya Jackson left before the women's task was finished and both were called out in the boardroom by Donald Trump, and Warwick got "fired," according to CBSnews.com.

Meanwhile, Lil Jon's team took the prize and that goes back to benefit t on South Columbia Drive. Lil Jon, whose real name is Jonathan Mortimer Smith, chose the Methodist children's home because his mother adopted  his brother and sister, who were in a foster care situation initially.

With the earnings, the United Methodist Children's Home will continue helping children and families in need by providing them a safe place to live, and offering services and resources to prevent abuse and keep families together.

Since 1871, UMCH has been a safe haven and offer foster care for children and independent and transitional living arrangements for older youth.
