Decatur Adds Senior Swim At Glenlake Pool

The City of Decatur is addign something new to the aquatics program: a one-hour senior swim at Glenlake Pool.

Starting next week, the pool will be open 9 to 10 a.m. so people 60 and over can enjoy swimming without the ruckus of kids and teens.

At 10 a.m., the pool opens for everybody.

Here are the pool schedules:

Glenlake Pool

• Through July 31: Monday-Friday 10 am-8 pm, Saturday-Sunday 10 am-6 pm.

• Aug. 1 to Sept. 3: Monday-Friday 4-8 pm, Saturday-Sunday 10 am-6 pm.

McKoy Pool

• Through July 31: Monday-Friday 10 am-8 pm (Fri. morning, baby swim), Saturday-Sunday 10 am-6 pm.

• Aug. 1 to Sept. 3: Monday-Friday 9 am-1 pm, Saturday-Sunday and 10 am-6 pm.

Ebster Pool (Closing July 1)

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday noon-5 pm, other days 10 am-5 pm.
