Scholarship To Honor Madison Lewis, Former DHS Softball Player

The scholarship will go to graduating seniors on the Decatur High softball softball team.

A scholarship fund has been established to honor killed in a December 2011 car wreck.

Dr. William Marianchuk, who started the fund, said scholarships will go to a graduating senior softball player, with the first ones awarded to the class of 2013-14.

Marianchuk said Madison's father, Chuck Lewis, coaches softball at Renfroe Middle and exerted a positive influence on players, including Marianchuk's daughter, DHS sophomore Anna Marianchuk.
