Building on Avondale Estates’ successful and fun-filled experience of May, 2011, the 2012 Avondale Estates Sunday Ride transforms 4 miles of streets--our City's greatest resource of open space--into one vast park. Walkers, joggers, bikers, scooters, skaters or any form of active (muscle powered) transportation replace motor vehicles.
Sunday Ride is modeled after highly successful events from around the world. People familiar with open streets events said, “Avondale Estates Sunday Ride got it right.”
