Sitar. Starched tablecloths. Seemingly never-ending buffets. Until Chai Pani came strutting into town, it seemed that was the only make of Indian dining experience that was available for us Atlantans. Luckily for us, about one year ago, Executive Chef and Founder Meherwan Irani came along to offer up an authentic dose of his native India's vibrant culture, diverse country and complex cuisine.

You see, Mr. Irani – who grew up just outside of Mumbai – was determined to recapture the real Indian experience and do right by his native country. And thusly, Chai Pani came into being: an Indian eatery unlike any other, where everything from the decor to the drinks to, of course, the menu, immerses guests in the sights, sounds, scents and tastes of Indian street food. …From chaat to thali, the menu includes a dizzying array of flavors—flavors you'll be able to experience for yourself, thanks to a menu handpicked by Meherwan himself.

… Trust us, you've never really experienced the Indian cuisine fully until you've chowed down on a warm, filling samosa whilst swinging your hips to bona fide Bollywood tunes in Chai Pani's festive environs. Or better still – finished off one of their famous kale pakoras and washed it all down with a 3 Taverns brews (or two).
