Candidates Peg Bumgardner and Garrett Goebel took questions from moderator Geoff Koski, government and politics teacher at Decatur High.
The election will be held Nov. 8. There are no other contested city posts on the ballot, but Decatur residents will vote on the edcuation SPLOST and Sunday alochol sales.
