Author Will Talk Tonight About the Challenges Girls Face In Middle School
Author Haley Kilpatrick will speak at 7 p.m. at the Decatur High Performing Arts Center.
At 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, author Haley Kilpatrick will talk to parents and daughters (ages 9 to 18) about the issues girls face in middle school today.
Kilpatrick is the author of The Drama Years: Real Girls Talk About Surviving Middle School – Bullies, Brands, Body Image and More and founder of Girl Talk, a mentoring program that pairs high and middle school girls.
The Decatur Education Foundation is sponsoring the program, which will be held in the Decatur High School Performing Arts Center. It's free and open to the public.
