Tonight: State of School System Address
The superintendent and other school system leaders will discuss the five-year strategic plan at the Performing Arts Center.
Decatur Schools Superintendent Phyllis Edwards will give the State of the School System Address at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in the Performing Arts Center at Decatur High School.
She and other school leaders will also present the 2011-16 strategic plan, “Engagement, Equity, Excellence.”
The Georgia School Board Association has helped the school system create the comprehensive plan. The city school board discussed the strategic plan during a two-day retreat.
