Scott Jackson Named Decatur High Football Coach

Jackson served last season as the offensive coordinator under Brad Waggoner, who recently left DHS for a job with Lumpkin High.

Scott Jackson, the offensive coordinator for the Decatur High football team, has been named head coach.

Athletic Director Carter Wilson broke the news Monday night in an email.

Jackson replaces Brad Waggoner, who led the Bulldogs for one season and recently resigned for a job in Lumpkin County in North Georgia.

Jackson was on Waggoner's coach staff at Chattooga High School, also in North Georgia.

Jackson and Waggoner have known each other for years and are good friends.
