Right Choice Mentoring Program to Host Unity Service Friday

The DeKalb County Public Safety Department, along with the DeKalb County Public School System and members of the faith-based community, are hosting a Unity Service Friday evening.

The DeKalb County Public Safety Department, in partnership with the DeKalb County Public School System and members of the faith-based community, are hosting a Unity Service.

The service is an opportunity for the organizations to promote the Right Choice Program, an after school program implemented by the faith community in 2013. It is designed to support the academic enhancement, character and social development of boys in middle and high school.

The Unity Service will open the dialogue about joint, ongoing initiatives by the DeKalb County clergy community to mentor boys. The service will also raise money to support the program. A local charity will receive a portion of the donations collected.
