Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Turner CEO Phil Kent visited the school that serves students from around the world who've moved to DeKalb County.

Turner Broadcasting volunteers recently helped improve and beautify the International Community School campus on their Annual Turner Volunteer Day. 

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed stopped by to check on the progress at the campus in DeKalb County, as did Turner CEO Phil Kent.

ICS serves 400 K-6th graders from over 40 nations who speak twenty-five languages.

About half ICS students are immigrants/refugees, many of them child survivors of war. The other half are native-born Americans from the surrounding neighborhoods.
