Museum School Principal Appointed To State Advisory Board

Katherine Kelbaugh will serve on the Education Advisory Board for Principals.

 

Gov. Nathan Deal has appointed Katherine Kelbaugh, principal at the Museum School of Avondale Estates, to the governor's 2012 Education Advisory Board for Principals.

Deal's office says the board will be made of up 13 principals from around the state who will meet quarterly with the governor.

The board will provide feedback on Deal’s education initiatives and give a “boots on the ground” perspective on education in our state.

Kelbaugh has been principal at the charter school for both years its existed. It now operates out of modular classrooms outside a church, but next school years will move to the old Forrest Hills Elementary building.
