Kiwanis Club Donates Books

Volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Decatur come to the to International Community School three times a year to distribute free books to all kindergarten and first-grade students.

The Kiwanis Club of Decatur has partnered with International Community School for three years in a project to support literacy among the youngest students at the school.Β 

The school says that Kiwanis volunteers come to the school three times a year to distribute free books to all kindergarten and first-grade students.Β  On Oct. 19, Kiwanis members Joey Charles and Latoya Smith presented the books to ICS students and talked about how Kiwanis is involved in the community.
