House Committee To Hold Hearing On Rep. Drenner's Cell Tower Bill
Hearing starts at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the capitol.
State Rep. Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates) continues her battle against cell towers at schools.
An email from the Georgia House of Representatives says the House Intragovernmental Coordination Committee will hold a hearing on House Bill 1197 at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6.
Drenner introduced the local legislation, which would ban construction of cell phone towers on public school property in DeKalb County.

The hearing will take place in Room 515 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building. Anybody planning to attend should bring a photo ID to gain entry into the building.
