Join us for a lecture and workshop with Carla Hannaford, PhD

The Waldorf School of Atlanta warmly invites the community to hear neurophysiologist and educator, Carla Hannaford during an evening lecture on Friday, April 13th and workshop on Saturday, April 14th.

Carla Hannaford, author of Smart Moves and Playing in the Unified Field will present an evening lecture to the community on Friday, April 13th at 7-9pm and workshop on Saturday, April 14th from 9am – 5pm. Lecture and workshop will be held at the Atlanta Friends Meeting meetinghouse – 701 West Howard Street, Decatur, GA 30030. Participants in this highly experiential, scientifically informative presentation and workshop will gain a physical and intellectual understanding of why movement, music and play are so essential for brain development, learning, memory and creativity. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how human beings learn, as well as simple, profound movement tools to use in all areas of life - school, business, art, music, sports, and relationships. Come ready to play and learn!

Copies of her books will be available for purchase at both the Friday evening lecture and the Saturday workshop. Bring your own lunch on Saturday or order from Erbert and Gerbert's menu on the morning of the workshop. Only cash accepted. Please bring your own water bottle. No cost for the lecture or workshop, but your RSVP is needed by April 9: Visit www.waldorfatlanta.org  to rsvp for just the Friday evening lecture or both the Friday lecture and the Saturday workshop.
