Snake, Insect and Poisonous Plant ID Training

The DeKalb County Natural Resources Management Office will host three informative training opportunities to properly identify snakes, insects and plants in our parks that may be beneficial or harmful.

The training sessions will be presented by Charlie Monroe, Natural Resource Manager.  Additional training locations and dates are as follows:

  • Thursday, July 12, 10:00am – 12:00pm, Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center, 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, GA 30034
  • Thursday, July 12, 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Briarwood Recreation Center, 2235 Briarwood Way, Atlanta, GA 30319
