Oakhurst Elementary Spaghetti Dinner / Family Night

Here's how families can help:

  • Cookie bakers.  You say the word, and we'll send a kit with all the dry ingredients and the recipe home with your kid, along with bags to put the cookies in on Friday, March 3.  You need to provide 2 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 Tbsp. milk.  Bake at your leisure, and drop them off Thursday, March 10 (the morning of the dinner) at the front of the school.  We will be the ones standing there with a box and a cooler for the noodles.
  • Noodle boilers.  We send 2 lbs. pasta and two Ziploc bags home with your kid, you boil it Wednesday, March 8 and bring it back the morning of Thursday, March 10.  Have your child drop it off on the way into school.
  • Helpers that night.  We can use people for two hour blocks to set up, check people in, or serve.  We start set-up at 4pm, so we need folks from 4-5:30 and from 5:30-7 pm.
