Free Introductory NIA Technique Class

The NIA Technique is about learning to love your body, as a whole, as it is, and what it can do at any particular moment.  This sensory-based movement blends dance, martial arts and healing arts and is adaptable to any age or ability.  It is not a “guilt-driven,” or “no-pain; no-gain” philosophy.  It’s fun!  The choreographed movements can quicken your
response time and sharpen the brain when practiced over time.  Smaller muscle groups get conditioned and intensity
of an action depends on what is comfortable for each individual.

Decatur Healing Arts is offering a Free Introductory Class for first time participants on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. -11:15 a.m.
