"Creatures For Teachers!"

NO cat or dog adoption fees in June for educators in Georgia, from pre-K to post-grad. LifeLine Animal Project is waiving its standard $80-$120 pet adoption fees for teachers throughout the month of June and allowing them to adopt a pet for free.

"Teachers are a vital part of the well-being of our communities,” says Rebecca Guinn, founder and executive director of LifeLine. “They deserve recognition and appreciation. We hope that any faculty or school staff planning to add a pet to their family this summer will consider adopting from our no-kill Dog House or Kitty Motel. We invite them to become part of our own extended adoptive community.”

All adoptable dogs and cats at LifeLine are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. Many dogs in LifeLine’s no-kill Dog House have also had some obedience training.

All potential pet parents must meet LifeLine’s standard criteria for adopting a pet and must fill out an application, either online through LifeLine's "Virtual Shelter" at www.LifeLineAnimal.org, or in person at their Avondale location at 129 Lake Street.
