Chicken First Aid and Health

Don't take your chicken to a vet for that! Join Jen Cleere for a hands-on discussion and demonstration of in-home treatments of common chicken illnesses and injuries. Many common ailments in poultry can be successfully treated at home with widely available equipment, proper food, and medications. Class includes actual chicken handling, discussion of necessary items for chicken first aid kit, and  methods of humane euthanasia. Jen Cleere has raised poultry in both backyard and rural settings for 12 years and is the founder of the Goat-Op, a cooperative dairy goat herd and laying hen flock in intown Atlanta. Jen has a business called Fetching Tags, a small artist-owned company dedicated to handcrafting the greatest custom ID tags for dogs on this planet.
