Bountiful Bean Cultivating

Wednesday, May 11, 7-9pm

Glynis Ward would like to share her love of legumes in this hands on class. Beans, peas and peanuts belong to the plant family Leguminosae. Beans are an excellent source of protein, vitamins, minerals, and complex carbohydrates. They’re very low in fat and virtually sodium-free. Plus, they’re filling and satisfy the appetite. Grow climbing beans, bush beans, green beans, horticulture beans and fill your garden and belly with nutrition. Please bring plenty of recyclable containers: garden pots, yogurt and margarine tubs, milk or juice jugs to take home sowed seeds.
