During the Dearborn competition, the DHS CU team will compete against others for cash awards.  Each team will be assigned a plot where all invasive plants, English Ivy and Chinese Privet, must be removed without damaging the native species.

Any money the DHS CU team may win will be used to provide travel grants for the spring trip to Washington, D.C.  At the 2010 Dearborn competition, the DHS CU team won $500 and hopes to win the top prize of $1,000 on November 12.
