Decatur Teachers of The Year Named

The district teacher of the year for the will be announced next Tuesday at the city school board meeting.

The nominees are, as listed on the CSD website, are:

• Early Childhood Learning Center - Allison Mansfield, Pre-K teacher

• Clairemont Elementary - Ann Guilfoile, Early Intervention Program teacher

• Glennwood Elementary - n/a for this year

• Oakhurst Elementary - Argean Vokes, music teacher

• Winnona Park Elementary - Laura Pitts, kindergarten teacher

• Fifth Avenue Fourth and Fifth Grade - Bill Withers, Instructional Support Teacher

• Renfroe Middle - Robyn Tibbetts, 7th-grade Humanities teacher

• Decatur High - Charlie Copp, ESS teacher

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Westchester Auditorium at 758 Scott Blvd.
