Want Chocolate Milk? Decatur Schools Are Asking

Parents have until Sept. 21 to go online and give their opinions about proposed menu changes in Decatur school lunchrooms.

The Decatur school system when it discussed ways to make school lunches healthier, including the possible elimination of chocolate milk.

The administration about the proposed changes in an online survey. The survey can be reached by going to the City Schools of Decatur webpage.

The deadline to finish the survey is 5 p.m. Sept. 21.

First, of course, parents should read the recommendations from the Ultimate Menu Committee, a group of school nutrition employees, parents and one student who spent months studying what's served in the lunchrooms.
