The issue is not chocolate milk, but rather the quality of the chocolate milk. I routinely cut "commercially sold" chocolate milk half with plain milk, and it is still delicious. We make the same choice in restaurants. The school system is in a position to request that the manufacturers provide a product that is still dellcious but has just a little added sugar (milk is very sweet on its own), and no high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors and colors.
