Decatur Schools Has Phone System in Case of Inclement Weather

If bad weather hits and schools close, the City Schools of Decatur has a method to alert families and staff.

With bad weather forecast for the Metro Atlanta area, the City Schools of Decatur has issued information on how parents and staff members will be notified if schools are closed.

An inch of snow might fall on the Atlanta area by Friday morning, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Forecasters told the newspaper that rain could change to snow in northwest Georgia by Thursday afternoon.

Here's what the City Schools of Decatur posted on its website.

In the case of inclement weather days or delays, City Schools of Decatur will call each family and staff member using the phone number listed in our student information system, Infinite Campus.Β
