Enrollment at the start of . The system projects enrollment for the 2016-17 school year will be 5,236.

The administrative offices will move into the Beacon Hill Complex which is now under renovation.

The projects are being paid for with the E-SPLOST, not property taxes.

RMS had a poorly suited gym before the new gym was built. That old gym is still standing and is the one being converted into classrooms. They may only be moving on it now but it's something that was determined ages ago.

There's no question that CSD has had to pull its socks up when it comes to planning and enrollment projections but this one is not their fault--it's an omission in the article above. It should have said "The board will also vote to move ahead with renovation of the OLD Renfroe Middle School gym into classrooms."

Man, the Museum School is nice and all, but as a Forrest Hills resident, I sure wish COD would've worked something out with respect to the FH Elementary space.
